The idea behind this survival bag guide is that this bag will be able to support you for multiple days if something major happens in any scenario (e.g. snow storms, earthquakes, flooding, dooms day, nuclear strike etc). How many days could you survive?
This bag will be done on a budget however in some cases we wouldn't necessarily recommend the products we have if we had more money to spend. We will get round to doing more specific item reviews in the future. Keep updated on our Facebook page.
humans have a few basic needs for survival. These include energy sources (food, plants, the Sun), nutrients, water, oxygen and a moderate temperature. Humans also need protection from poisonous gases and high levels of radiation and food gives us energy.
Many people will think that this is ridiculous and say something like "You've been watching too many conspiracy theories." and hopefully they’re right, we never have to use them but we see it as a backup that might save our lives one day. You can also use the majority of these items for weekend camping trips, hiking, bushcraft expeditions etc so it's never wasted money.
The list is really meant to be a basic list for those just getting started. It is in no way a complete list, or a list of things that need to be included in everyone’s stockpile. It is here to give you some ideas, and some things to think about when getting started. Thanks for reading and please feel free to add tips and suggestions below.
